If you schedule Steve during the time he is near you, when Steve has other churches he is performing at, YOU PAY NO TRAVEL FEE! If you have an UPWARD Unlimited Ministry, Steve tours through your area twice a year, in the Fall and in the Spring with his “Upward Steve Tour!” Schedule Steve as your Awards Night Speaker during the time he is already performing in your city (see below) and YOU PAY NO TRAVEL FEE!

Q: “How do I know Steve is the perfect fit for my church/ministry event?”

A: One thing we do know for sure, Steve can’t be “all things to all people.” God has uniquely gifted Steve to do one thing and to do it very well. Steve’s passion is to bring the families of America to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord! If you are looking for a ministry performer who appeals to the entire family audience, from four to a hundred-and-four, and who is able to entertain all ages as they sit together in your sanctuary with comedy illusions, ventriloquism, and audience participation, and who is able to give a clear, concise, non-threatening Gospel presentation (and effective invitation if you so desire), then Steve Taylor is the performer for you. However, if this doesn’t sound like what you’re looking for, Steve Taylor may not be the perfect “fit” for your church, Upward Awards or ministry event. We want your event to be a magnificent success, so if Steve’s not the perfect performer for you, we’ll tell you so right up front (and help you get in contact with someone who is). We promise never to give you a “hard sell,” because we want your presenter to be who God wants your presenter to be! (We know you can never go wrong doing it God’s way!) Q: “What is the COST to have Steve appear at my ministry event?”

A: Of all the questions we get, this by far is the most popular. Laughter That Uplifts! Ministries exists solely on the honorariums it receives from ministries like yours. We have no other source of funding. However, unlike many other Christian ministries, Laughter That Uplifts! does not have a “SET FEE” that is charged to minister alongside you. Our board at Laughter That Uplifts! desires that our ministry be available to churches of ALL sizes. Therefore, we base our honorarium range on a sliding scale that is fit to the size of your budget, your church and your congregation. Every church, and thereby, every ministry, is different. Let me encourage you to call the toll-free number below to find out the specific honorarium guidelines for a church/ministry your size! Trust me, you will not receive a “hard sell” from us, only the information you will need to select the best ministry for your event. We will even pray with you for God’s leading for your ministry event. Typically, in addition to the honorarium, travel (NOTE: please don’t be frightened by airfares, our experience has found that flying across the country can many times be cheaper than driving/flying within a single state) and hotel expenses are also required, but please read the above question on FREE TRAVEL for how you can even make these expenses “disappear”!

Q: “Will I have to send in a DEPOSIT to reserve Steve and what if I have to cancel?”

A: For every booking Steve takes, we usually have to turn down several other churches who call and want that same date (during Steve’s UPWARD TOUR, we usually have to turn down six churches for every church Steve can minister to). Therefore, in order to hold a date for your church, Steve’s board requires that fifty percent of the honorarium be paid up front with the return of your Performance Agreement to finalize his reservation. The balance of the honorarium is due at the time of his performance. If, for some reason, you have to cancel, part or all of your deposit will be refunded. If you have sent in a deposit and you cancel at least six months before Steve’s performance with you, you will receive all of your deposit back. If you cancel between six months and three months of your reserved date, you will receive half of your deposit back. If you cancel within three months of your performance date, none of your deposit will be refunded. But, GOOD NEWS! If we are able to book Steve at another church on the day you reserved, sent in a deposit for and then cancelled, you will get all of your deposit refunded at the time we receive the new church’s deposit.
